I asked Pepijn Caudron aka Kreng to make a mixtape for Klankschap. He was enthusiastic about it and send me this mixtape. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but in the end it exceeded my expectations. This is music, mixed by a real musiclover. Hear for yourself !
Kreng has several wonderful releases out on the Miasmah label founded by Erik Skodvin(aka Svarte greiner, Deaf Center), particularly "L'autopsy phenomenal de Dieu" (2009) and the exquisite "Grimoire" (2011). As an actor / composer in residence at the controversial theater collective Abbatoir Fermé he knows like no other how to translate brooding tensions into breathtaking compositions.
