I started mixing records with my friends in our local youth club in 1990, the decks we used were Technics 1200`s, The style I played at that time was Hardcore mixed in with a bit of Jungle (Drum and Bass).
In 1997 I was fortunate to meet one of my cousins friends from school who was also into music in a big way, we would go back to back and quickly realized we would make a good team and formed the Tom Toms, we would spend around £40 a week on records, the music we played was house and a bit of Trance and Garage, He is going to join Mixcloud soon so have a recommended listen to his work, his name is PJ Whitehead.

the last few years I have been mainly a bedroom DJ doing the odd CD for friends and the occasional night here and there, I now play House, Electro House, Progressive house and Drum And Bass.
