Recorded at Essence Of Chi / Rotation, Boileroom. CJ talks with MC Tali and discusses her new acoustic project with a collective ‘more like trees’ and how a chance encounter with Roni Size in 2001 led her to Bristol to start something special. Following her success with Full Cycle Records Tali hooked up with Shimon from AudioPorn Records to commence the next chapter of her career. For the last two-years MC Tali has been working on 2-albums, one acoustic and the hotly anticipated forthcoming album ‘Dark Days, High Nights’ which features collaborations with Benny Page, Dirtyphonics, Shimon, SKisM, Ed Rush, Atlantic Connection, Lynx and Sparfunk to name but a few. The first single last April was ‘Dark Days’ a dub step tune that she did with Ed rush and the second track ‘Facing Forwards’ is a track by an Austrian crew called ‘Fourward’ will be released August.
