South West Four after-party DJ Competition

My SW4 competition entry, with big respect to vibe of M_nus records (especially Plastikman's mindblowing music). Technically - further exploration of possibilities in digital deejaying.

Total Time: 31min

Setup: 2x Technics 1210mk2 + Ecler NUO2 + Serato SL1 + Dicer controllers (cue points set before mix, key lock on and a plenty of repetition)

target: to be one of few best and get possibility of spinning records in London (my previous entry for !K7/Beatport competition was my first ever at mixcloud and was choosen by Soul Clap one from top 3). This is tracklist enough long to fill 1h set but for this competition I compressed this set to preview a journey on beats I like to serve from the decks, I had never work so long on any mix so far. All music included is selected from my digitalised vinyl collection.

Man, this is some wicked tracklist. Really lovin' this stuff. Cosmin TRG, Martyn, Ramadanman, Joy O; some of my fav dubstep artists (too bad u didn't include somethin' of Appleblim, it would have made my day, but still). This is really one good mix, solid but smooth. I listened to it like two days ago and forgot to comment. Now I'll relisten while I'm logged in (let's make it to 100 plays!).

I like it Man. I really appreciate the nice things you said and your advice in regards to my mix. However my style is just my style. Win or lose the exposure is great. This is a great opportunity but I don't plan to win. I enjoy the fun of listening to the other mixes and learning new techniques. Great work man!

Nice mix. Good to hear a real blend of styles and making it all work. At one point Dubstep and the next felt like old Acid house just before being dragged across an ambient landscape and into glitchy techno and breaks. Play and favourite. I was going to post u my SW4 entry back but after hearing this, I think u will like this a lot more Glitchy July. good luck with the comp ;)
