In New Orleans, life sure is funky. Everything we do involves music, even funerals. Emotions and music go hand in hand. Brass bands were the background for much of my childhood. I played saxophone at an early age and my Grandfather was in a Barbershop Quartet for 25+ years. I've tried to apply the native influence to my music and being a dj, which is why I've been most known for funky, jazz-laden house music, but expect to hear me play sets of downtempo hip hop, acid jazz, slo-mo disco, edits, throwbacks and more. It's almost always funky and has a jazzy / soulful influence, or a little throwback to the past.
