Initially started as 'Kick FM' in 1996, then changing to 'Fly FM' in 2000, also re-launching in 2007.

Fly FM broadcasts LIVE every day of every term - online at flyfm.co.uk, on the TuneIn Radio app, through the Facebook Airwave Player and on your WiFi-enabled DAB radio.

We deliver New Music For NTU. We cater for all tastes of music; during the day we play the stuff that everyone is loving at the moment, but then from 6pm, we deliver the newest sounds in Alternative, Metal, Dubstep, Hip Hop, R&B, Afro Beats, Reggae and unsigned artists!

Fly is the home of all Trent's big events; the Varsity Series, the NTSU awards and the Exec Elections, as well as providing news updates every week day every 30 minutes.

Fly is run completely by the students of Nottingham Trent and have won many awards in recent years. At last year's Student Radio Awards, Fly was named in the top six stations nationally.
