When John McCaffrey left the hills of East Lancashire to start a new adventure in that there Australia we wished him good luck and told him to keep in touch.
Keep in touch he did, with about 40 songs a week. his creative juices were flowing like a clare valley riesling, and we’re all ready to open the bottle for everyone to have a taste.
Out of a back log of about 200 tracks we all sat down around different tables to work out the most reflective snap shot of a young mans battle to quit smoking in australia. after negotiations that would make the UN proud, the part timers first album was born.
Sounding like a lost English Folk classic, sharing an evident heritage with the likes of Mum and The Boats.
