I’m a football fan, so I love to dig on some of these old style players, haircuts, uniforms, and of course the classic matches. A great inspiration. This time from Derek Dugan and the 1970's Wolves.. This week I’ve got some Left Coast Hip Hop in case you missed them in Common Market and Jake One (one of my favorite producers), a Jill Scott track featuring Mos Def (or Yasin if you will), some Jay Z sampled MSFB, funky stuff with James Spencer, Classic Hip Hop in Brand Nubian and Audio Two, a great Funk band who just dropped their new record, Deep Street Soul out of Australia via the UK, a Steinski remix of Dennis Coffey, Mophono aka DJ Centipede just killing “The Shuffle”, and on again back to Jamaica with classics from Horace Andy and King Tubby, The Jamaicans, and and Eric Barnett. A short mix of what you'll hear at my 6 hour plus sets at the Ace Hotel NYC on Friday nights. Enjoy!

Enjoyed the mix Brother but where was Harry J. All Stars – The Liquidator !!! Big tune in Wolverhampton. When the players came on the pitch the whole crowd would be dancing to the Liquidator. I remember the "DOOG" playing. Legend. Keep the faith
