Melé, real name Krissy Peers, is 18 years old and has been producing since he was 14, which frankly is ludicrous, annoying, and we’d like to see his passport to check that he’s not pulling an Obafemi Martins on us. Regardless of potential scams, his music’s fiery, fierce and absolute tons of fun, full of r’n'b and grime samples, lithe cowbells and claps, and show-stopping basslines. He recently released the excellent Mugged EP on Sinden’s Grizzly label, and has drops forthcoming on Hum & Buzz, Mixpak and more.
