First a foremost I want to thank some of my past guests for droppin knowledge on what it takes to show your unique style through music. I have some great guests coming up for the summer but I couldn’t let them all have the fun so I decided to do this quarter’s installment. Don’t call it a comeback…
I decided to compile and rebuild an older mix that I never fully finished. It has alot of Hip-Hop influence, both old and new and I feel it really takes you back to some older funk while still trying to blend in some current faves seamlessly. I think what really inspired me what a few weeks back I checked out the Hip Hop documentary “Rhyme and Reason.” I wanted to bring back some strokes of the Golden Era. Overall, I had alot of fun making this installment, so much that I cut out 30 minutes from it because I completely lost track of time!
