Dj Zion was born Kristopher Leo Ortega on the 8th of January in the year 0f 92' growing up Dj Zion was exposed to such a vast variety of musical genres and ideas. Genetically gaining the passion, art , and expression of music from his parents made it inevitable the he would soon then fall in love with music him self. So at the age of 7 he started to collect cd after cd song after song. While building an empire music from 1950's to 2000 including genres from the 70's 80's 90s, disco,funk,house,pop,classic rock,metal,hip hop,underground,throwbacks and much more.. he also studied the history of music along with idols and theories up to 3,4 generations behind him as well as present he continue to educate him self on what it is that he loved. were his main inspiration came to become a Dj was where he would watch videos of grand master flash, Dj kool herc ,herbbie handcock,The executioners,q-bert,premier,mix master mike,z-trip,a-trak,craze,shiftee,jazzy jeff and the list goes on but the one
