Born and raised in the city of Oakland, Dj Otto fell in love with music from the very get go. His love for music reached beyond his hometown and stretched as far as Dance music. His first inspiration for the music came from a radio station (92.7 Party). He finally discovered the name of the genre and so his playlist grew!

Through-out his journey there have been many sources that have guided and molded him into the DJing individual he is today. DJ Lamont Young, a San Francisco Resident DJ, took Otto into his DJ collective, Fingersnaps (www.fingersnaps.net), and taught the art to Otto. Otto learned the heart and soul of what it means to be a DJ.
