Show 2 starts off with the epic 'Mirror Blues' by the Died Pretty featuring both parts 1 and 2, originally split over two sides of a 7". The guitar work of Brett Myers is central to his first band, The End. Finally we feature Ron S Peno in his alt-country disguise as the Darling Downs with Kim Salmon. The set is rounded out with Kim Salmon from his first album with the Surrealists (Hit me with the Surreal Feel) with 'Hangin' out'. The 2nd is far more simple, songs about TV. Celibate Rifles, Trilobites and Radio Birdman (in a live recording so apologies for the quality). Three post-rock acts (Sealifepark, Art of Fighting & Laura) take up the bulk of the set with the Laura track coming from the 2011 new album. The final set is linked by the mighty talents of Tex Perkins, Don Walker and Charlie Owen. Two tracks from the eponymous records are linked with the Beasts in contemplative acoustic mode and Cold Chisel with their prison ballad 'Four Walls'. Rock on! DJRingfinger
