Already at a young age DJ Matthezz (born as Matthias Schnaus) was inspired by Music especially rhythms. Because of that he began playing the drums when he was only 5 years old. In the years of school he began to interest more for the melodies, so he started learning to play the piano. After a while he established a band with some of his friends and first had gigs on some parties.

After breaking up, Matthezz began interesting in electronic music. At the age of 14 he bought his first DJ equipment. 4 years later he had his first gigs at some friend’s parties.
