Creator of San Francisco's Queer Alternative Dance Party - DARK ROOM. It opened it's doors in January of 2011 at the Hot Spot and rapidly became a beyond capacity destination for San Francisco's under belly. Now housed at the Historic Cafe Du Nord. we feature a combination of the new and vintage tracks in INDUSTRIAL/EBM, PUNK, GOTHIC, DARK ELECTRO/SYNTH & more (we're QUEER - there's gonna be some KITSCH) live bands and guest DJ spots for a fun, modern dance night.

I grew up listening to this music since the early 80's and have stayed the course. There is a lot that is fresh in the music scene. Acts inspired by the bands I grew up with that makes for a great bridge into what is current. Dark, because I tend to drift towards that in all of the music I listen to. Some tend to over think this adjective, but the word is overt and conveys my preference in music well.
