Hikaz Dermenjian was born on August 1, 1978 in Yerevan, Armenia. He grew up listening to his mom’s records, thus exposing him to great artists such as… Beatles, Boney M, Demis Rusos, Abba, Sofia Rataru, Jimmy Hendrix, Elvis and more. From the very start, he was inspired and here his passion from music came about.
At age of 16 Hikaz started experimenting with Electronic Dance Music (EDM.) Within few months and two turntables in his possession Hikaz started learning the art of mixing and constructing sets. As he grew his popularity with mix tapes and CDs Hikaz started to make a name for himself and was recognized and DJHiKe.With many different generas of dance music Hike grew particulate to one sound which won him over. The sounds of Trance was a genera that inspired him and became his musical form of choice.For over 15 years Hike has been compiling one amazing Trance set after another. From Boston MA, to Los Angeles CA his sounds can be heard in variety of areas. Listen and Enjoy!
