Old "friend" of mine and Mod Radio Uk, the 90 years old living legend El Chico always had a good connection with the Mod scene refreshed in the last 10/15 years thanks to his new manager Mr Jeffrey Andrew Caddick, a Weller fan, member of the Splinters mailing list, and US mod about town. Thru this friendly link we had a "Chicompetition" on our website MilanoMods in 2003 (with an authographed cool price you see in the pic, won by a German lady!) and Chico was also the 1st artist to record a jingle for MRUK! This cloudcast (like Sharon Jones and Steve Cradock before) is all the songs I played at the radio during my shows in the last 7 years. Not a greatest hits, not totally Jazz-oriented, it starts with the cover of Paul Weller (I remixed and edited for radio playing) + includes some 60s beat he recently revisited + a few classics like "For Mods Only" or "Conquistadores 74" (with Little Feat). We still love you Chico! Keep on drumming! Respect
