Kicks-off with an underground classic; Mission Control 'Outta Limits' - a deep, throbbing and soulful track that still sounds fresh after 20 years.
Fantastic Man 'Look This Way' from early 2011 injects a nu-disco flavour and slightly broken beat leading into Atjazz's 'For Real' - a sublime, deep, rolling afro-centric cut, and a sound I'm really loving at the moment.
From Atjazz we go into a couple of smoother tracks from Europe; 'Sachrias & Aslak - Leather Flute' coming out of Poland, and 'Cosmic Cowboys - Velvet' fresh from Italy. South West Seven 'What We Do' gently pick things up again and 'Pleasure From The Serpent' (Random House Project) and 'Soul Dreamer' (Moffit & Mixman) get us towards towards funky (at normal tempo Soul Dreamer is definitely one for the dance floor).
I couldn't resist dropping in 'The Cure and the Cause' from 2006… simply because I'm still loving it. Finishes up deep, dirty and sweaty with 'Alien' from Marlon D.
