DJ Julian Savage delves into the murky realms of the unconscious for a crazed selection of jungle rhythms, primitive rockers, inebriated r&b & manic instrumentals exploring the neurotic, the exotic and the erotic. Shouters, screamers, shakers & honkers in a call of the wild. A Melbournian by birth Julian has travelled to the remote corners of the globe to source vinyl from the souks of Marrakech & the notorious Tepito district in Mexico City to flea markets in Havana, record fairs in Belgrade & hard hustling in NYC. For the last 8 years he has resided in London and been a regular DJ with the Raison d’etre collective as well as performing in local dives around London. In Melbourne Julian ran a number of long running nights including Mazurka at the Lounge and was a regular guest around town and on radio 3RRR & 3PBS.
