Bestival Radio

Bestival Radio is back as the festival's official radio station. Based on-site and broadcasting for five days, Bestival Radio will feature exclusive one-off shows from the artists and DJ's featured on the Bestival line up.

Past artists to feature on Bestival Radio include Friendly Fires, Modeselektor, The Drums, Magnetic Man, La Roux, Katy B, Paloma Faith, Greg Wilson, Beardyman, Simian Mobile Disco and heaps more.

In 2011 Bestival Radio went on a nonsensical mission to reenact the very best elements of Talking Heads ‘Stop Making Sense’ film. With classic tracks such as Take Me to the River, Psycho Killer and Naïve Melody (This Must Be the Place) to the visual accompaniment of David Byrne’s over sized suit. The station took listeners on a surreal journey, with DJs and artists playing at the festival dropping in to do their own shows.
