P Villa appeared on our radar via friends who asked if we knew his identity. After checking it out for ourselves, we were more than happy to get an Astrocast from this young musical talent out of Atlanta. Perfect for a New Years hangover, this mix is filled with warm, bubbly synths embracing tasteful samples that boom bap slow-dance together back into the cosmos. In the same vein as much of the music that fueled the original Astro Nautico radio show in Montreal, P Villa is carrying the torch of hip-hop and soul into the future with style and class.
