Jumping The Gap No Talking 15 Sep 2010
Jumping The Gap show from 15 September 2010. Excerpt, with no voice breaks. From a game show 'Name That Sound' opening, we head through 'Here Comes That Sound' and a bunch of newly re-released Disco edits from Better Days/Z Records including the killer 'Saved By Peter Stringfellow' and one from JTG's edit-man-of-the-moment, Gay Marvine. Later there's soul, soft-psych-soul, reggae from another JTG fave, The Lions, plus some Latin grooves including something from the latest Strut compendium of Tito Puente party-starters. Naturally, or maybe not, we therefore end with hep-cat Joe Jackson from an early jazz album. Uploaded -
Featuring tracks by • Tito Puente w/ Santos Colón, Ocote Soul Sounds & Adrian Quesada, The Lions, • Love De Luxe /Mozart At Nine's Thinner edit, • Delilah Moore and more
